Cranking
Cranking fuel, dwell, pump prime and the flood-clear path.

Cranking is its own fuel table (vs CLT) plus a priming pulse. It is not the idle VE cell. Cold engines want several times the hot cranking fuel; a map that starts hot and fails cold is a cranking-table problem.
- Prime: a single pump-and-squirt at key-on, vs CLT. Enough to wet the rails, not enough to puddle in the intake on a restart 30 seconds later.
- Cranking PW / multiplier vs CLT: this is what you edit when a cold engine just cranks. Watch the wideband after it catches — black smoke is too much, a four-second crank in summer is too little.
- Cranking spark: 8–12°. Residual fuel and a 25° cranking map will kick back against the starter.
- Flood clear: TPS above ~80 % during crank should cut injectors. Confirm this is enabled before you flood it the first time.
